Members may be approached about a follow-up documentary to the BBC's "Kill It, Cook It, Eat It".

If approached about participation, you may wish to speak to either one of our own Secretaries, or to the RBST, before you decide.

Foot and Mouth - Breeds at Risk Register

The Society has received the following statement from the Conservation Officer at the RBST:

Hatfield County Show, 17th/19th August

Due to unexpected circumstances there will be a change of judges for the sheep classes at the Hatfield County Show, 17th/19th August.

Melton Mowbray Show Schedule Available

The "Traditional Native Breeds Show and Sale" is to be held on the 7th & 8th of September this year.  Soay and Boreray Classes are included.  "Grassroots" has made available the Melton Mowbray Show Schedule on-line.  Follow this Show Schedule Link to view and down-load details.  Entries can be made on-line and this facility will be available shortly.  For details of the site, see the Melton Mowbray Market web page.

Soay Sheep Society AGM Announcement

A date for our Diaries ~ The Society's Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 29th September 2007 at Temple Newsam Home Farm near Leeds.   Further details will be published in the next Newsletter (no. 21) in late summer.

Editorial Correction - Newsletter 20

There is a small correction to the Christine's Editorial ~
It is VETRAZIN that is no longer available in 0.8 litre bottle.  Novartis, the manufacturer, no longer sells it in the smaller size.  CROVECT is, however, still available in the smaller size.
